This compulsory course deepens students’ understanding of promoting health and well-being and helps students to recognise and evaluate how well a healthy lifestyle is achieved in their own lives as well as in their near environment and in societal decision making. Other essential themes are developing students’ ability to take care of themselves and manage a healthy everyday life as well as look after their own mental health. The course is given in Finnish, English or bilingually. xLte2 Human, environment and health

The course focuses on health, well-being and safety as resources and familiarises students with social sustainability as part of aims for a sustainable future. The course is organised as an online course which includes one weekly contact lesson. Numerical grading.
